We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Intern to join our dynamic team at SDC for a semester-long internship in Baton Rouge, LA. In this role, you will actively contribute to our daily operations, assisting with tasks such as inventory management, data entry, and office organization. As an integral part of our team, you will collaborate across departments, participate in the development of standard operating procedures, and conduct research to enhance overall efficiency. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program, possesses strong organizational and multitasking skills, and is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. This internship provides a unique opportunity for hands-on experience, exposure to various aspects of operations, mentorship, and networking within the industry.


About Us: SDC is a consulting firm dedicated to building a brighter and more responsible future for businesses and organizations and the communities they serve. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Operations Intern to join our team and contribute to the efficiency of our daily operations.


  • Assist in daily operational tasks, including but not limited to client management, project support, and business development.

  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.

  • Support in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Conduct research on industry best practices and provide recommendations for process improvements.

  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation.


  • Currently enrolled in a undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Business Administration, Operations Management, Consulting or a related field.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a calm environment.


  • Hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative work environment.

  • Exposure to various aspects of operations and business processes.

  • Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals.

Work Schedule & Location: The candidate should be comfortable working remotely and have the flexibility to work between 5-20 hours a week. Some travel may be required in the future but will be discussed in advance.
