Our Story

S. Daniels Consulting was founded in 2017 at a moment of disruption and clarity. After experiencing a professional separation that exposed deep misalignments around leadership, power, and fairness, our founder chose not to internalize the setback—but to interrogate it. That moment became an inflection point: a decision to build the kind of work environment, leadership practices, and organizational structures that so many institutions say they value, but struggle to sustain.

As a first-generation business owner, Dr. Sonia Daniels understood early on that resilience is not just personal—it is structural. Success depends not only on individual talent or effort, but on the systems people are asked to operate within. What began as a small consultancy supporting strategic planning and organizational development was rooted in a simple question: What if organizations were designed to support people, not exhaust them?
