Born and raised in the heart of Southwest Louisiana, Dr. Sonia Daniels is a powerhouse American businesswoman, strategist, and unapologetic changemaker who’s redefining what leadership looks like in the new era of business, equity, and impact. A first-generation college graduate turned founder and CEO, she moves with both precision and presence—grounded in purpose, yet unafraid to disrupt.
Now based in New Orleans, Sonia leads SDC, a solo-practice firm that fuses mindset mastery with razor-sharp strategy to help mission-driven organizations and entrepreneurs scale with soul. With 15+ years of experience in public policy, nonprofit management, and senior operations, she has become the go-to advisor for those serious about transforming systems—not just surviving them.
An alumna of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, the University of New Orleans, and THEE Southern University and A&M College, Sonia has also sharpened her business edge through elite executive education, including Goldman Sachs’ Black in Business and Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. She brings boardroom brilliance and front-line empathy, making her both respected and relatable.
Sonia’s portfolio spans global giants like Amazon and DonorBox to community powerhouses like Line4Line and 100 Black Men. Her signature framework blends data, intuition, and human-centered execution—unlocking clarity, confidence, and serious results for leaders who are done playing small.
Dr. Daniels is also well-positioned to serve as an expert witness in cases that require insight into leadership and organizational development, nonprofit governance, equity and DEI practices, workplace culture, and emotional intelligence in management and retention strategies.
