Stakeholder Engagement

One of the most significant data-driven consulting engagements S. Daniels Consulting has led was with Invest in Louisiana, supporting a statewide initiative to better understand Medicaid recipient experiences and identify opportunities to improve program delivery and health outcomes.

The engagement involved designing and conducting a multi-region stakeholder engagement process that gathered qualitative data from Medicaid recipients, community organizations, healthcare stakeholders, and regional partners across Louisiana. Our role included planning the engagement strategy, facilitating stakeholder sessions, collecting and organizing participant feedback, identifying recurring themes, and conducting in-depth qualitative analysis to translate diverse perspectives into actionable policy insights.

The primary data sources included stakeholder interviews, facilitated discussions, participant feedback, and qualitative response data collected across multiple regions of the state. We applied thematic analysis, qualitative coding, pattern recognition, and cross-regional comparison techniques to identify common experiences, emerging issues, regional differences, and opportunities for program improvement. Throughout the engagement, we synthesized large volumes of unstructured information into clear, evidence-based findings suitable for executive and policy audiences.

Our deliverables included analytical summaries, stakeholder synthesis reports, strategic recommendations, and executive-ready presentations that distilled complex community feedback into practical insights for decision-makers. We were responsible for ensuring the findings accurately reflected stakeholder perspectives while identifying broader trends and policy implications.

The analysis informed discussions around Medicaid recipient satisfaction, service delivery, and program effectiveness, providing leaders with evidence-based insights to support future planning and decision-making. Beyond the technical analysis, the project demonstrated my ability to translate complex qualitative data into strategic recommendations that balanced analytical rigor with the lived experiences of the communities being served.

This engagement strengthened our expertise in stakeholder-centered research, mixed-methods analysis, executive communication, and transforming complex datasets into decision-ready insights that inform organizational and public policy strategy.
